Appointment Cancellations and Changes
A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or change your appointment without incurring any charges. If you cancel or change your appointment with less then 48 hours' notice there will be a charge of 50% of the booked service fee. If you cancel with less then 24 hours' notice there will be 100% charge of the booked service fee.
Late Dog Drop off and Pick up
Late drop-off might result in reduced service being provided in the time left in your allocated appointment time whilst incurring the full cost. Late pick-up will result in a fee of £10 per 10mins being charged to the cost of your service.
Dog’s Health Conditions, Temperament and Behaviour
Medical conditions, allergies, anxieties and sensitivities including aggressive behaviour must be disclosed to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of your dog and the dog groomer. If your pet needs special handling, desensitising, adapting of the grooming process or a longer appointment, there will be an additional charge from £5 applied to your service fee. This will be discussed with you at booking / drop off, and if such need is only detected during the groom a video will be taken and you’ll be notified.
Terminated Grooming Session
If due to you pet’s behaviour the groom cannot be continued safely, even with adapted handling, we will take a video of such behaviour and contact you to collect your pet. Full fees applicable to the booked service will still be payable.
Dog with Knotted or Matted Fur
If your dog has knotted fur the grooming process will involve more work, need special products and will therefore incur an additional charge starting at £5. Knots can also affect the styling of your dog’s fur which might need to be taken shorter to cut them out if they cannot be brushed out.
Knots that are not brushed out or cut out will turn into mats. When a dog's coat is matted it will need to be shaved off down to the skin. This might result in skin irritation, swelling, and small cuts, especially if your dog has moles or warts. The process might also expose existing issues with the skin e.g., injury, rush. Shave-off will incur an additional charge of between £20 and £30.
Recommended Grooming Schedule
We will recommended a specific grooming schedule for your dog based on the style and length of fur you'd like for your pet and if you go beyond it, there will be an additional charge of £5 per week as your dog’s fur growth will require more products and more work to complete the grooming process, as well as leading to more wear on our equipment.
